Elderly Woman Dies, Daughter Injured in Yemen Home Collapse After Heavy Rains

An elderly woman has died and her daughter sustained serious injuries after their old home collapsed due to heavy rainfall in the Jabal Habashi district of Taiz governorate.

Local sources reported that an aged residence in the Bani Khaila area of Jabal Habashi district crumbled on its occupants following intense rainfall. The deceased has been identified as Muskk Mohamed Jessar, who died at the scene.

The victim's daughter suffered severe injuries in the incident and has been transferred for medical treatment, with her condition described as critical.
