Yemeni Government Forces Report 780 Strikes Against Houthi Targets in 24 Hours
Yemeni government forces announced the execution of 780 precision strikes over the past 24 hours as part of Operation Dawn of Yemen, targeting Houthi militia positions, gatherings, and military equipment across multiple fronts.
The official spokesperson for the armed forces stated via the X platform that the military operations were concentrated in the northern fronts, including Al-Jawf, western Ma'rib, and Al-Bayda, as well as the southern and western operational theaters. These strikes successfully neutralized field commanders, disrupted militia assemblies, and destroyed heavy artillery emplacements, fortified positions, and logistical supply vehicles.
According to the military statement, the sustained barrage of attacks has severely disrupted the Houthi command structure and inhibited their ability to reinforce frontline positions. This tactical advantage has reportedly bolstered the momentum of government offensive operations and facilitated the ongoing advancement of military units across various conflict zones.
The military reported that these operations resulted in the neutralization of approximately 512 militia members and commanders. Additionally, government forces destroyed or incapacitated more than 330 military vehicles and personnel carriers, while also dismantling heavy weaponry and supply convoys that were reportedly en route to frontline combat sectors in Taiz.
The government forces emphasized their continued vigilance in monitoring and engaging Houthi reinforcements, warning that any attempts by the militia to regroup or regain the initiative will be met with decisive force. The statement further affirmed the commitment of the armed forces to uphold international humanitarian law by implementing necessary precautions to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure during these operations.
